Kyoto-linked markets
EMIT is active in the major Kyoto-linked markets of the European Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS), the project based Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) and Joint Implementation (JI).

Non-Kyoto markets
EMIT also operates in the non-Kyoto markets of the global voluntary carbon trading market as well as the Australian State based NSW Greenhouse Gas Abatement Scheme (GGAS) and the Federal and State based renewable energy schemes.

Exchange based markets
EMIT also provides transaction services to clients in the exchange based market through the European Climate Exchange (ECX) and the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX).
