EMIT is incorporated within Australia as part of the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) and governed under the Australian Corporations Law.

EMIT has offices in Australia, Thailand, China, India and New York.

On May 1 2006, EMIT was granted an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) (No. 298493). This licence authorises EMIT to carry on a financial services business including dealing, arranging and providing advice in financial products. For full details of EMIT's AFS Licence please click here.

Experience

EMIT has assembled a team of individuals with highly successful track records in domestic and international energy and renewable markets, commodity trading and financial market transactions. These individuals bring to EMIT strong networks in the respective markets, existing products and clients, and proven experience in origination, trading and deal structuring.

This experience in the energy, renewable energy and commodity markets means that EMIT is perfectly placed to understand client needs and to develop market based solutions from both a compliance and/or trading perspective.

Directors

Matt Dever
Managing Director

Matt has 15 years financial and energy market experience within Australia and overseas having worked for a number of major energy companies and financial organisations. Responsible for the origination and development of Kyoto linked projects for EMIT, Matt's energy project and financial analysis experience provides the necessary experience for client's to utilise when bringing their projects to market. Through Matt's risk management and trading background, EMIT's carbon transactions are managed effectively on both sides of the market to ensure a value add process.

Guy Boston
Director

Guy started with EMIT in March 2007 to enhance the Company's penetration in to global financial institutions who now represent a significant portion of the worlds carbon buyers.

Guy has an honours degree in Economics from the University of Melbourne and extensive experience trading in the worlds financial markets. Having worked in London for some of the worlds leading investment banks, including Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital, Guy has enabled EMIT to connect to many of the leading buyers within the European carbon market and also given EMIT a greater understanding of market pricing, valuations and risk management.

Russell Howcroft
Director

Russell is a non-executive Director of EMIT and brings to the table significant experience in international business and through his extensive network provides EMIT with growth opportunities across its target markets.
