EMIT Overview

EMIT Securities (EMIT) is an Australian based investment services company operating in the global carbon trading and renewable energy markets.

Formed in 2005, EMIT operates in both the regulated and voluntary carbon trading markets with an emphasis on developing market based solutions to assist clients manage their exposure to this new commodity.


With a focus on the underlying risks and opportunities, EMIT develops market strategies for business dealing in a range of carbon and renewable products. 


EMIT provides services in the Kyoto linked markets including the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), Joint Implementation (JI), EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS) and the New Zealand Emissions Trading Scheme (NZ ETS) as well as the voluntary carbon trading market.

 

EMIT also operates within the Australian renewable energy market providing an efficient execution service for clients looking to transact their renewable energy certificates (RECs).
